MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University volleyball coach Jill Kramer announced the addition of Jordan Lee of The Woodlands, Texas to the 2013 recruiting class.
Lee, 5-foot-4 defensive specialist, will attend WVU as an invited walk-on for the 2013 season.
“Jordan will add much needed depth to our team defensively,” coach Jill Kramer says. “She is a great fit for our team, as she embodies what a WVU Volleyball student-athlete is all about. She is strong academically, is an outstanding team-player and is very aggressive on the court.”
A two-time academic all-district selection from The Woodlands High, Lee recorded 250 digs, 2.8 digs per set and 36 service aces in her senior season. Lee was selected for the GHVCA All-Star team and also received the Lady Highlander award. As a member of the Skyline Volleyball Club, Lee participated at the 2012 USAV Junior Nationals, where her team placed second, and also recorded the second most digs in the entire club during the 2012 season.
Lee joins Jordan Anderson (Flower Mound, Texas/Flower Mound) and Hannah Shreve (Charleston, W.Va./George Washington) in the 2013 incoming class.
