MAC Social Media Challenge

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The Mountaineer Athletic Club is asking WVU fans to join the MAC Social Media Challenge. Each fan that likes, follows or connects with a MAC social media account by 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, will be entered into a random drawing to win prizes from the MAC account followed.

By following the MAC on social media sites, such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, Mountaineer fans receive the most up-to-date information on season tickets, special events, important dates and deadlines, and more.

For each site that reaches the following goals, the Mountaineer Athletic Club will conduct random drawings for the following prizes:

1000 Likes, Followers or Connections: Milan Puskar 3-D stadium replica

1500 Likes, Followers or Connections: Two men’s basketball tickets vs. Texas on Feb. 4, one reserved lot parking pass and two Statler Club passes

2500 Likes, Followers or Connections: Two WVU football tickets vs. Texas on Nov. 9 and one Blue Lot parking pass

5000 Likes, Followers or Connections: Two pregame sideline passes vs. Georgia State on Sept. 14, two Touchdown Terrace tickets and one Silver Lot parking pass

Participants who share (Facebook) or retweet (Twitter) the challenge also will be entered into a separate drawing for a football autographed by WVU coach Dana Holgorsen or a basketball autographed by WVU coaches Bob Huggins or Mike Carey.

Winners will be contacted via the social media site from which they entered the contest. One prize will be awarded to each social media site that reaches a goal. Participants are encouraged to follow all three sites for more chances to win.
