MORGANTOWN, W.Va.– As the West Virginia University women’s basketball team enters the second half of its 2012-13 regular-season schedule, there will be several promotional days in the upcoming games.

The Mountaineers will have a United Bank Dollar Night on Saturday, Jan. 26 against Iowa State. Fans who print a one dollar admission coupon on the official WVU women’s basketball Facebook page (www.facebook.com/wvuwomensbasketball) can redeem the coupon at the gate on game night for one dollar admission. It is the final United Bank Dollar Night of the season. WVU foam fingers will be distributed to the first 500 fans in attendance.

Following the Iowa State game, Carey’s Crew members are invited to a private autograph session with the Mountaineer women’s basketball players.

The Feb. 3 contest with Oklahoma is West Virginia’s Play 4 Kay game. The women’s basketball team will wear pink uniforms and fans are encouraged to “Pack the House” in pink to support breast cancer awareness. Two free tickets to the game will be inserted into the Saturday, Feb. 2, edition of the Dominion Post Morgantown area newspaper. The game will also be a part of Alumni Weekend as former WVU women’s players will be in attendance and honored at the game.

West Virginia closes the home season with Senior Night against Baylor on March 2. The game is a ‘Gold Rush’ presented by Coke Zero as fans are encouraged to wear gold for the game against the defending national champion Bears. The first 2,500 fans in attendance will receive gold pom-poms courtesy of Coke Zero. At halftime, fans will be treated to a performance by Tony Hoard and his K9 Crew. Hoard and the Frisbee Dog K9 Crew have been featured on Good Morning America, Animal Planet and America’s Got Talent to name a few.

Family Day packages are also available for the Baylor game at WVUGAME.com and 1-800-WVU GAME. A Family Day package includes four tickets, four hot dogs, four cokes and a popcorn for just $25. Family packages must be ordered in advance and cannot be purchased on game day.

Single game tickets are currently on sale for West Virginia’s Big 12 home games. Fans are encouraged to order online at WVUGAME.com and select the Print-At-Home option to save money on postage/handling and avoid will call lines on game day.
