West Virginia coach Bob Huggins was down at the Mountainlair earlier today talking to WVU students ahead of tonight’s Big 12 matchup against second-ranked Kansas at the WVU Coliseum.

The Jayhawks are perfect in the Big 12 so far this year with a 6-0 record, 18-1 overall, and are coming off a 67-54 victory against Oklahoma on Saturday.

The Mountaineers, meanwhile, are looking to rebound from Saturday’s 80-66 loss at Oklahoma State that dropped them to 9-10, 2-4.

The last time West Virginia played host to the nation’s No. 2-ranked team was Feb. 10, 2007 when John Beilein’s Mountaineers upset UCLA, 70-65 – which was also the last time WVU knocked off a top-5-ranked team at the Coliseum.

ESPN’s Big 12 crew of Brent Musburger, Fran Fraschilla and Holly Rowe will be in Morgantown tonight televising the game nationally. Tipoff is set for 9 p.m.

Also, for those coming make sure to know your section and be sure to wear the proper colors for tonight's Stripe the Coliseum.
