WVU-Kansas ... Tonight
The Jayhawks are perfect in the Big 12 so far this year with a 6-0 record, 18-1 overall, and are coming off a 67-54 victory against Oklahoma on Saturday. The Mountaineers, meanwhile, are looking to rebound from Saturday’s 80-66 loss at Oklahoma State that dropped them to 9-10, 2-4. The last time West Virginia played host to the nation’s No. 2-ranked team was Feb. 10, 2007 when John Beilein’s Mountaineers upset UCLA, 70-65 – which was also the last time WVU knocked off a top-5-ranked team at the Coliseum. ESPN’s Big 12 crew of Brent Musburger, Fran Fraschilla and Holly Rowe will be in Morgantown tonight televising the game nationally. Tipoff is set for 9 p.m. Also, for those coming make sure to know your section and be sure to wear the proper colors for tonight's Stripe the Coliseum. Great student rally at the Mountainlair should be fired up tonight!!! Thanks @wvumaniacs— Bob Huggins (@CoachHuggs) January 28, 2013 |
