The Extra Tenth: Hope Sloanhoffer

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – This season, the No. 21-ranked West Virginia University gymnastics team will lift the veil and give Mountaineer fans a closer look in The Extra Tenth. Each Monday, a different gymnast will be featured.

The 12th edition features junior Hope Sloanhoffer. Currently ranked No. 31 in the nation in the all-around, the Cornwall, N.Y., native scored 39.225 in the team’s home quad-meet on March 3 for her first win of the season. Strong on all four events, she matched her floor career high with a 9.9 effort on Feb. 1. Sloanhoffer has scored 39.0+ five times this season and has earned 9.8 or better in 72-of-120 career routines.
