CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin today issued the following statement congratulating the West Virginia University Rifle Team on its 15th national title.

"It gives me great pleasure to congratulate seventh-year coach Jon Hammond and the members of the WVU Rifle Team on winning the national title at the 2013 NCAA Championships this weekend. Throughout the years, we've worked hard to provide support to the WVU Rifle Team in an effort to maintain the level of preparedness the team needed to compete in high-level competitions as well as recruit new team members. Today, with the support of many, the team is celebrating its 15th national title--an amazing achievement for the Rifle Team and WVU."
