MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia women’s soccer team closes out its spring season by playing host to Kent State on Saturday, April 27, at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium. Kickoff is set for 2:00 p.m. and admission is free.
“It’s important that we go out and execute what we’ve been working on this past week and throughout the course of the spring,” says coach Nikki Izzo-Brown. “The ladies have been working very hard and it’s critical that we end on a positive note.”
Tomorrow marks the sixth and final match of the spring exhibition season for WVU. The Mountaineers last played a week ago in a 2-2 draw with Maryland.
Prior to the match, area soccer players and parents are invited to attend tomorrow’s Super Soccer Saturday
event for boys and girls, ages U5 – U13. Join Mountaineer women’s soccer players and coaches for a free one-hour clinic at Dreamswork Field, starting at noon, that also features giveaways, music, food and more. You must register by 5 p.m. today by emailing email@example.com for more information.
