MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Redshirt junior designated hitter Matt Frazer earned Big 12 Player of the Week honors for his performance last week that included a series win over No. 10 Oklahoma.

Frazer batted .556 (5-for-9) with three runs, four doubles, three RBIs and three walks in four games last week. Against Oklahoma, Frazer had a double in each game, including two on Friday evening. He is currently riding a four-game hitting streak.

This is the fifth Big 12 honor a Mountaineer player has received this season as redshirt sophomore left-hander Harrison Musgrave has been named the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week three times and junior left fielder Jacob Rice was named the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week on Feb. 25.

The Mountaineers return to action this weekend against TCU from May 10-12 at Appalachian Power Park in Charleston.
