MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University Department of Athletics and the Mountaineer Athletic Club (MAC) are pleased to introduce the online availability of Ballena Technologies’ Seats3D product, an exciting new tool to assist with the WVU Coliseum reseating project. By utilizing this product, ticket holders will be able to view their seats online and enjoy interactive views of seat locations throughout the Coliseum.

Ballena Technologies’ Seats3D product allows users to see a virtual rendering from any section and row inside the Coliseum. Fans can rotate the view in all directions and zoom in and out from that location, providing them a unique, self-selection seating process.

Prospective WVU men’s basketball season-ticket holders will be able to utilize Ballena’s advanced Seats3D technology to get a feel for the various seating opportunities available in the Coliseum. Current season-ticket holders can view their seat location or consider other views for potential seating upgrades. Fans can e-mail, post on Facebook or tweet their seat location to friends, family members or colleagues to encourage them to self-select seats near their own, based on availability. Additionally, MAC staff members are available to assist in acquiring season tickets by calling 304-293-2294 or by visiting the MAC office in person at the Coliseum.

“Seats3D is a great tool for current and future season-ticket holders. Season ticket interest for WVU men’s basketball is growing every day, and the Seats3D technology further engages fans who have a desire to self-select their seats,” says Matt Borman, Associate Athletic Director for Development/Executive Director. “This technology provides fans an opportunity to get a realistic view from their current or prospective seats, allowing them greater involvement and understanding of seat location options.”

Ballena’s online tools have dramatically improved customer service and the purchasing experience for ticket holders at sports facilities across the United States. More than 200 collegiate and professional stadiums and facilities have used Ballena’s online suite of products.
