Rice Named to All-Tournament Team

OKLAHOMA CITY – Junior left fielder Jacob Rice of the WVU baseball team was selected to the Big 12 Conference's All-Tournament team following the conclusion of Sunday’s tournament final.

Rice finished with a .500 (6-for-12) batting average in three games with two hits in each contest. He scored three runs, drove in three runs, drew one walk and was hit by a pitch. His performance was highlighted by a walk-off winning single in the bottom of the 10th inning against Oklahoma State on Saturday evening.

WVU finished the season with a 33-26 overall record, while Rice led the team in batting at a .333 clip. He also had 13 doubles, two homers, 30 RBIs and 12 stolen bases.
