MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Sophomore Ross Glegg
of the West Virginia University men’s swimming team is set to take part in the 2013 British Gas Swimming Championships from June 26-30 in Sheffield England.
A Scarborough, England, native, Glegg will swim in the 50 free.
“As we compete this week in the United States, Ross is representing the Flying WV in the British Nationals,” coach Vic Riggs says. “He is coming off a very good Scottish Nationals two weeks ago and will be racing against some of Britain’s fastest swimmers this week. He had a great spring of training and we know he is ready to swim his best.”
At the Scottish Gas National Open Swimming Championships from June 13-16, Glegg took fourth place in the 50 free (23.51) and fourth place in the 100 free (51.79).
