Six Compete of U.S. Open Swim Championships

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Six West Virginia University swimmers will compete in the 2013 U.S. Open Swimming Championships, set to take place at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center in Irvine, Calif., from July 30–Aug. 3.

Bryce Bohman (100 back, 200 back, 100 fly), Jay Hickey (200 back), Jake Querciagrossa (200 IM, 400 IM), Max Spencer (100 breast, 200 breast), Tim Squires (50 free, 100 free) and Jenelle Zee (100 breast) will each be representing the Mountaineers at the meet.

The Mountaineers will have swims all five days of the event.

The preliminary swims will be held at noon EST, with the finals beginning at 8 p.m., each day.
