Four More Stations Sign on With Network
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The West Virginia Mountaineers and IMG College continue to add new affiliates to their new radio network with four additional station affiliates joining the Mountaineer Sports Network from IMG: WDBS-FM / WKQV-FM in Sutton, WV, WVBD-FM in Fayetteville, WV, and WRON-FM in Ronceverte, WV.
The stations will each air football and men’s basketball along with their respective coaches’ shows and a daily “Mountaineer Minute” report.
The new Mountaineer Sports Network from IMG now has 20 affiliate stations covering WVU sports. The network’s broadcasts will also be available to fans on WVUSports.com, the official athletic website of West Virginia Athletics.

West Virginia University and IMG College, which operates the nation’s largest independent sports radio network, recently formed a broad 12-year multimedia rights and sponsorship partnership including exclusive representation and management of game broadcasts and coaches’ shows on the Mountaineer Sports Network from IMG beginning in the 2013-14 season.
Mountaineer Sports Network from IMG plans to add four hours of pre- and post-game coverage for WVU football. Pregame shows will expand from one hour to 3.5 hours and postgame shows to two hours from 30 minutes.
