Following one day of practice in Morgantown to kickoff the 2013 season, the WVU men’s soccer team is set to embark on an inaugural training trip on Tuesday afternoon to the Grande Sports Academy in Casa Grande, Ariz.

The $20 million state-of-the-art facility is home to Real Salt Lake’s MLS academy teams and features nine professional grade soccer fields, as well as a top-notch golf course.

There will be six training sessions, strength workouts and classroom sessions that will be run by the coaching staff and WVU FCA men’s chaplain Josh Sonoga.

On Thursday afternoon the team will participate in a golf outing.

Each day a member of the squad will be blogging, so be sure to stop back each evening!
