MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The depth chart for West Virginia’s season-opening game against William & Mary was released earlier this evening.
Junior Paul Millard
and Florida State transfer Clint Trickett
were listed as co-starters at quarterback, while Houston transfer Charles Sims
was listed as the No. 1 running back.
The top four wide receivers listed on the two-deep were senior Ivan McCartney
at X, true freshman Daikiel Shorts
at Y, sophomore KJ Myers
at Z and sophomore Cody Clay
As expected, the first offensive line consists of junior left tackle Quinton Spain
, sophomore left guard Marquis Lucas
, redshirt freshman center Tyler Orlosky

and senior right tackle Curtis Feigt
The No. 1 defense features seniors Will Clarke
and Shaq Rowell
up front along with redshirt freshman Eric Kinsey

The top linebackers coming out of camp are sophomore Isaiah Bruce

On defense, Cook has the most career starts with 23, followed by Clarke (22) and Rigg (18).
There could be as many as seven first-time starters on offense this Saturday when the Mountaineers face William & Mary in a noon kickoff at Milan Puskar Stadium that will be televised by Fox Sports 1.
