With an action-packed evening of events on tap for Friday, Nov. 8 at the WVU Coliseum and Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium, the WVU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics wants fans to be aware of the following information regarding tickets and event parking:

Limited Coliseum Parking during the day Friday: Coliseum parking during the day on Friday will be extremely limited. Students who have classes in the Coliseum on Friday will be allowed to park in the Natatorium lot for free until 5 p.m. Students who do not have classes in the Coliseum, but in other areas of the Evansdale campus may park for free in the Coliseum lots near the Arboretum until 5 p.m. Space is limited at both locations.

WVU faculty and staff who work at the Coliseum will be allowed to park for free during the day until 5 p.m.

To offset this parking loss, all are reminded that short-term parking is available at the Alumni Center, Mountaineer Station on Van Voorhis Road, at a variety of short-term lots on the Evansdale campus, and in downtown parking garages and lots operated by the Morgantown Parking Authority. All of these alternatives have easy access to the PRT and Mountain Line bus system, which is free to WVU students, faculty and staff.

Women’s Basketball vs. Ohio State – Free parking will be available in the WVU Coliseum lots closest to the Arboretum and the Natatorium/band practice field. Free parking will also be available at the Green Lot on Van Voorhis Road. Round trip shuttle service from the Green Lot will be available for $4 per person beginning at 4:30 p.m. Friday and lasting until approximately one hour after the conclusion of the men’s game. The Red, Blue and Gold Lots at the Coliseum will be reserved for men’s basketball season parking pass holders.

Tip-off of the WVU women’s basketball season opener against Ohio State is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the WVU Coliseum.

Men’s Soccer vs. Bowling Green - Free parking will be available in the WVU Coliseum lots closest to the Natatorium/band practice field for the Mountaineers’ Senior Night matchup with the Falcons. Game action is slated to begin at 7 p.m. at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium. Admission to the soccer match is free, courtesy of WVU Healthcare.

Men’s Basketball vs. Mount St. Mary’s - The Blue and Gold Coliseum lots will be reserved for Mountaineer Athletic Club members with men’s basketball season parking passes. Free parking for this game only for fans without season parking passes will be available in the WVU Coliseum lots closest to the Arboretum and the Natatorium/band practice field on Friday evening. Free parking will also be available for all men’s games at the Green Lot on Van Voorhis Road. Round trip shuttle service from the Green Lot will be available for $4 per person beginning at 4:30 p.m. Friday and lasting until approximately one hour after the conclusion of the men’s game.

WVU students are encouraged to utilize the PRT for Friday’s events. PRT service will be available until 10:30 p.m. Friday night.

Tip-off of the WVU men’s basketball season opener is scheduled for 8 p.m. at the WVU Coliseum. Tickets for the men’s and women’s basketball doubleheader are available for $10 each online at WVUGAME.com or by calling 1-800-WVU GAME. One ticket gains admission into both the men’s and women’s regular season openers.

Important note: Football parking, including recreational vehicles, at the WVU Coliseum will not be available until 11 p.m. Friday following the conclusion of the basketball doubleheader.
