Promo Schedule for Women’s Basketball

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.  – The West Virginia University women’s basketball promotional schedule has been announced.
Sunday, Nov. 24 is the Mountaineers’ next game at the WVU Coliseum, when they take on Virginia at 4 p.m. The game is the first of two Coca-Cola Family Days. Fans can purchase four tickets, four hot dogs, four Cokes and one popcorn for $25 at WVUGame.com or 1-800-WVU-GAME. Family Day packages must be ordered in advance and are not available for purchase on game day.
Saturday, Dec. 7, WVU plays Fairleigh Dickinson at 2 p.m., and it is Carey’s Crew Appreciation Day. Members of the Carey’s Crew are invited to a pizza party, and can get autographs from their favorite Mountaineer women’s basketball players following the game. The Mountaineers will have three United Bank Dollar Days where fans can enter the game for $1. The United Bank Dollar Days are set for Sunday, Dec. 29 vs. Elon at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 12 against Texas and Saturday, Feb. 8 against Kansas State at 2 p.m. In addition to $1 admission provided by United Bank, fans can also participate in Super Hero Day against Kansas State. Children are encouraged to come dressed in a super hero costume or representing their favorite super hero. The game will also be a part of Alumni Weekend as former WVU women’s players will be in attendance.
Sodexo will be sponsoring a food drive on Dec. 29 to benefit the Mountaineer Food Bank. Fans who bring a non-perishable food item to the game will receive a free popcorn and a complimentary ticket for an upcoming game.
Sunday, Jan. 12 is another opportunity for Carey’s Crew members to join in on a pizza party at the noon game against Texas.
Saturday, Jan. 18 is a 2 p.m. matchup with Oklahoma, and also another Coca-Cola Family Day.
The Feb. 16 contest with TCU is a Play 4 Kay game. The women’s basketball team will sport pink uniforms and fans are encouraged to “Pack the House” and wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness.
All fans can enjoy Fan Appreciation Night on Tuesday, March 4 when WVU faces Kansas in the final home game of the season. Fans will be able to purchase small popcorn and small drinks for $1 each. The Mountaineers will also recognize seniors Asya Bussie, Christal Caldwell, Brooke Hampton, Jess Harlee and Taylor Palmer as a part of senior night.
