MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Four members of the West Virginia University men’s soccer team were named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference (MAC) team on Wednesday, as voted on by Faculty Athletic Representatives at member institutions.

were each named to the first team. Bennett has 4.0 grade point average as a pre-sport and exercise psychology major, while Bevin carries 3.88 grade point average as a business major. This is the second-consecutive season Bevin has earned the honor.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests. Freshmen and junior college transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
