WVU-Oklahoma Football Game Moved

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia Director of Athletics Oliver Luck, in conjunction with the Big 12 Conference, has announced that the West Virginia – Oklahoma football game at Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown, will be moved to Saturday, Sept. 20. The originally scheduled date of Saturday, Sept. 27, will now be an open week. Times for the 2014 season will be announced at a later time.
 
West Virginia will open its 2014 season in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game against Alabama on Aug. 30, at Atlanta’s Georgia Dome.
 
WVU will announce its 2014 signees on Wed., Feb. 5. The athletic department once again will produce a signing day internet show from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., on WVUsports.com and announce the signees as they become official. The show, presented by United Bank, will be hosted by Tony Caridi, Jeff Culhane and Dale Wolfley and will feature the assistant coaches, Holgorsen and other staff members.
 
The Mountaineers open spring practice on Sunday, March 2, and the annual Gold-Blue Spring Football Game will be on Saturday, April 12.
