Additional WBB Promotions Announced

Seniors Christal Caldwell, Asya Bussie, Jess Harlee, Taylor Palmer and Brooke Hampton will be honored with a Gold Rush on Tuesday, March 4 at 7 p.m.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.Several promotions have been added for the final home games on the West Virginia women’s basketball team’s 2013-14 schedule.
 
WVU will face Kansas State at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the WVU Coliseum. Saturday’s admission is $1 courtesy of United Bank. The Mountaineers will celebrate Alumni Weekend, recognizing women’s basketball alumni in attendance, and it is also Superhero Day. Coke Zero will provide superhero masks to the first 1,500 fans.
 
The Mountaineers will face TCU at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16 in a Play4Kay game presented by WVU Healthcare. For a free printable ticket, visit WVUsports.com/pink. Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness with the first 5,000 fans to the Coliseum receiving pink rally towels courtesy of WVU Healthcare. Also, the first 2,000 fans will get pink glowsticks from Coke Zero. Coke Zero will also donate $1 to the Betty Puskar Breast Care Center for every Coca-Cola bottled product purchased during the game up to $2,500.
 
Tuesday, March 4, the Mountaineers will celebrate Senior Night at 7 p.m. There are five seniors on this year’s team: Asya Bussie, Christal Caldwell, Brooke Hampton, Jess Harlee and Taylor Palmer. In addition to celebrating the seniors, the Mountaineers say thank you with Fan Appreciation Night. Small popcorn and small drinks will be available for only $1 each. The first 1,500 fans will also receive senior posters courtesy of Coke Zero.
