Pierre-Louis Attends Canadian Camp

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University women’s soccer freshman Amandine Pierre-Louis was selected for the Canadian U-20 Women’s National Excel Camp, currently being held in Vancouver, British Columbia.
 
The camp officially opened Feb. 16 and will close on Feb. 27.
 
A forward from Montreal, Quebec, Pierre-Louis previously qualified for the nation’s last two Women’s National Excel Camps, held in Vancouver in December and in Denmark in July.  
 
The first official camp of the 2014 season, the 18 invited athletes, led by coach Andrew Olivieri, are training in advance of the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Canada, set for Aug. 5-24. The tournament will feature 16 teams and 32 matches across four Canadian cities; Edmonton, Alberta; Toronto, Ontario; Montreal, Quebec; and Moncton, New Brunswick.
