The West Virginia University football team will hold two off-campus open practices prior to the Gold-Blue Game presented by Kroger on April 12. The practices are open to the general public free of charge.
“We wanted all of Mountaineer Nation to be able to get out and see practice,” WVU coach Dana Holgorsen said. “I want our fans to come out and see all of the hard work we’ve been putting in for 2014, and hopefully we’ll make our fans proud.”
West Virginia will practice at Wheeling Island Stadium in Wheeling, on Saturday, March 22, at 1 p.m. Fans are encouraged to get their first look at the 2014 Mountaineer football team.
WVU’s practice on Saturday, April 5, will be in Charleston, at UC Stadium. The Charleston practice is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
West Virginia will conclude spring practice with the annual Gold-Blue Game presented by Kroger on Saturday, April 12, at 1 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are available for purchase at the Coliseum ticket office, online at WVUGAME.com or by calling 1-800-WVU GAME. WVU students will be admitted free with a valid ID.
