MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Single-game tickets and mini-packages for the 2014 West Virginia University football season will go on sale to the public on Monday, July 7, at 9 a.m.

The Gold-Blue mini-package, which consists of tickets for the games against Oklahoma, Baylor and Kansas State, will be available for $175 each online at WVUGAME.com or by calling 1-800-WVU GAME. Tickets for the Mountaineers’ matchup with Oklahoma will only be available as part of the Gold-Blue mini-package.

Single-game tickets will be available for home games against Towson, Kansas, Baylor, TCU and Kansas State. The Towson and Kansas State games are priced at $55 each with the Kansas, Baylor and TCU games priced at $60 apiece. Fans are encouraged to utilize the ‘Pick Your Own Seat’ option on WVUGAME.com for these games. The seats available online at WVUGAME.com are the best possible seats available at this time, pending completion of season ticket sales.

“We have received a lot of positive feedback from our fans on the 'Pick Your Own Seat' feature, when buying single-game tickets on WVUGAME.com,” says Matt Wells, Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs. “That feature, along with the print-at-home and mobile phone delivery methods have been popular options being utilized by our fans in the ticket-buying process.”

The matchup with Towson has been designated as “Family Day” with four tickets and a $25 concessions voucher available for $150 per package.

Single-game tickets also will be available in the “Family FunZone” section (133) for each home game. The Family FunZone is an alcohol free, family-friendly section at Milan Puskar Stadium.

For information on group ticket rates, contact the Mountaineer Ticket Office at 1-800-WVU GAME as group discounts are not available online.

Tickets for West Virginia’s road contests with Maryland, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State and Texas also will be available on Monday, July 7. For non-season ticket holders or non-Mountaineer Athletic Club (MAC) members, a $25 MAC annual fund/ticket priority gift will be added for each away game purchase. Existing season ticket holders and MAC members should login to their WVUGAME.com account or call the Mountaineer Ticket Office to purchase away game tickets.

The Mountaineers begin the 2014 season against Alabama on Aug. 30, in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Tickets remain available with prices ranging from $80 to $140 in the WVU sections.
