Men’s Soccer to Hold Tryouts

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University men’s soccer team will hold walk-on tryouts for the 2014 season on Tuesday, Aug. 19, at 5 p.m., at the men’s soccer practice field, weather permitting.
All WVU students interested in trying out should bring proper training attire, including cleats. The tryout will last an hour and a half.
Interested students must be enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 credits each semester) at WVU and have remaining NCAA eligibility. In order to tryout you must bring the following:
  • A copy of your fall 2014 class schedule,
  • A completed compliance tryout form (click here for the form),
  • A physical within the past six months that is signed by the doctor, and
  • A copy of your insurance card.
There will be two forms to sign before stepping on the field. Please be on time.
Potential candidates are encouraged to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
