MORGANTOWN, W.Va.– For the second week in a row, the West Virginia University rifle team ranks No. 1 in the College Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) Poll.
This week’s CRCA Poll rankings are based off the last aggregate score shot by each team.
The last aggregate score shot by the Mountaineers (4-0, 2-0 GARC) was 4721, on Oct. 23 in a win at Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio.
Along with WVU, the top four teams in this week’s ranking shot an aggregate score above 4700.
Murray State moves up two spots to No. 2 this week after shooting an aggregate score of 4718.
TCU is down one spot to No. 3 after shooting an aggregate score of 4708, while Kentucky moves up two spots to No. 4 with an aggregate score of 4704.
Air Force dropped two spots and is ranked No. 5, while Alaska-Fairbanks is down one spot to No. 6.
Nevada is up six spots to No. 7, while Ohio State and Nebraska are tied at No. 8. JSU moves up one spot and checks in at No. 10.
WVU welcomes Great America Rifle Conference (GARC) opponent Memphis on Saturday, Nov. 5. The match is set to begin at 8 a.m. inside the WVU Rifle Range.
