Tickets for West Virginia’s appearance in the 2017 NCAA West Regional will go on sale through the Mountaineer Ticket Office at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 20. The Mountaineers will face No.1-seed Gonzaga on Thursday, March 23 in San Jose, California, at the SAP Center. The game time on Thursday has not yet been determined.
All 2016-17 Mountaineer Athletic Club (MAC) members may purchase tickets beginning at 9 a.m. Monday by calling 1-800-WVU GAME. Fans who purchased 2016-17 men’s basketball season tickets but were not MAC members may also call on Monday to request tickets.
WVU students may purchase tickets in-person at the Mountaineer Ticket Office located at the Gold Gate of the WVU Coliseum beginning at 9 a.m. Monday. Students must present a valid WVU student ID and will be limited to one ticket per ID.
Tickets must be purchased by 5 p.m. on Monday and orders will be filled and allocated based on Mountaineer Athletic Club giving level and priority points rank. The Mountaineer Ticket Office reserves the right to limit order quantities based on availability. Fans who purchase tickets will receive an email by 8 p.m. Monday confirming their order and providing instructions on the ticket distribution process at the SAP Center.
If any tickets remain after Monday at 5 p.m., sales will be opened to non-MAC members and non-season ticketholders beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 21.
Tickets are valid for the Thursday and Saturday sessions of the West Regional and are priced at $300 for lower level seating and $250 for upper level. Only American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards will be accepted for payment.
The Mountaineers will be making their second Sweet 16 appearance in the last three seasons and fourth overall under Coach Bob Huggins.
