MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Incoming West Virginia University women’s soccer freshman Lauren Segalla
earned a pair of honors from TopDrawerSoccer.com today.
The forward and native of Salisbury, Connecticut, was named a TeamSnap Fall All-Region and State Star. She is now eligible for TeamSnap All-America honors, which will be announced on Thursday, July 20.
Compiled by TopDrawerSoccer.com with consultation with coaches and media members from around the country, players who make the state all-star list are eligible for regional all-star recognition. The All-America list is selected from the eight regional all-star teams.

A graduate of Housatonic Valley Regional High, Segalla was a three-year member of CFC United ECNL (2014-17) and CFC Extreme ECNL (2012-14). The leading goal scorer each season, she was a four-time NSCAA All-State Team honoree and a four-time first team all-conference performer at Housatonic, where she played in 63 career matches and finished with a school-record 120 goals and 266 (120 G, 26 A) career points. Segalla set the career single-season scoring record in 2014 with 52 goals.
