Breast Cancer Awareness

Women's Basketball

The women's basketball team hosts a pink game every year where players and fans are encouraged to wear pink to raise Breast Cancer awareness. The initiative is now called the "Play4Kay" game and regularly draws outstanding support from the Morgantown community. This year, WVU Healthcare is distributing 5,000 pink towels at the game to help pink out the Coliseum and Coke Zero will distribute pink glowsticks for children. Coke Zero will also donate $1 to the Betty Puskar Breast Care Center for each 20oz Coca-Cola bottled product that is purchased at the concession stand during the game (up to $2500).
