  • Named to the All-Big 12 Second Team
  • Named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team
  • Started all 58 games for the Mountaineers, with all but one coming in right field
  • Led the team with 75 hits, 20 doubles, four triples and 112 total bases, finished second with a .342 average, 32 walks, 49 runs scored, a .511 slugging percentage and a .420 on-base percentage and was third on the team with 40 RBIs
  • Had a team-best 27 multi-hit games and was second with 10 multi-RBI games and had a hitting streak of eight games and a reached-base streak of 12 games
  • Led the team with six game-winning RBIs
  • Finished with three hits and a career-high-tying four RBIs and was a home run shy of the cycle in the Big 12 Championship game against TCU
  • Had two hits and three RBIs on May 7 against Texas, and followed it with three hits and two RBIs the following day to help complete the sweep of the Longhorns
  • Drove in the game-winning run in back-to-back games, against Virginia Tech on May 3 and vs. Texas on May 6
  • Homered, had two hits with two RBIs and a pair of runs scored against Youngstown State on April 19
  • Singled home the eventual game-winning run in the eighth inning in a 5-4 win over Kansas State on April 17
  • Homered in the seventh inning, driving in the eventual game-winning run in WVU’s series-clinching, upset win over No. 16 Oklahoma State on April 2, going 2-4 with two RBIs in the contest
  • Singled home the winning run in the second inning as part of a three-hit, three-RBI day on Feb. 27 at UNLV, a day after finish a double shy of the cycle, with his first career home run, with four RBIs in the series-opener

  • Played for coach Brian Jones at Dallas Jesuit
  • Helped lead Dallas Jesuit to a 25-10 record and a District 9-5A Championship in 2014
  • Hit .534 with 45 runs, 63 hits, 18 doubles, 11 triples, five home runs, 45 RBIs and 12 stolen bases as a junior
  • Named a Louisville Slugger First Team All-American, a MaxPreps Second Team All-American and a Perfect Game Underclass Third Team All-American
  • Named to the Texas Sports Writers Association/Collin Street Bakery and Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association Class 5A All-State First Team
  • Named the Dallas Morning News Hitter of the Year and the District 9-5A Offensive Player of the Year
