- Earned All-Big East honors in the 400 free relay
- Member of the third-place 400 free relay at the Big East Championships, while also finishing fourth in the 200 free (1:37.20), 12th in the 100 free (44.85) and 18th in the 500 free (4:32.06)
- Began his career as a Mountaineer with a second-place finish in the 500 free (4:39.74), sixth in the 200 free (1:45.03) and was a member of the second place 400 free relay (3:04.18) against Pitt
