Biography

Emerged as one of the team’s strongest shooters as a junior … team will depend on his increased consistency this season … competed for the Mountaineers at the 2011 NCAA Championships and finished in the air rifle top five … four-time NRA All-America … made strides in smallbore as a sophomore and individually qualified for the NCAA Championships … proved capable of balancing pressure in the range and in the classroom.

• Shot in his first national championship finals and finished fifth overall in air rifle at the 2011 NCAA Championships; scored helped WVU win team air rifle title
• All-GARC air rifle, smallbore and combined score second team

• Shot 1167 and finished third overall against Memphis; also finished second (589) in air rifle
• Finished third in smallbore and combined score at Army with marks of 588, a personal best, and 1173, respectively; smallbore tally included a school-record 200 prone score
