Jillian Weston joined the WVU Athletic Department in December 2011 and has been serving in her current role since August 2012. Weston will handle the day-to-day academic services for baseball, gymnastics, rowing and volleyball.

Previously as a program coordinator, Weston’s responsibilities included supervising the academic tutoring program for all student-athletes as well as providing guidance to academic support and services for the student-athletes and student services staff.

She also served as a liaison with Disability Services, the Center for Writing Excellence, the Math Learning Center, the Undergraduate Advising Center and other campus academic support services.

Previously, Weston served as an Admissions Counselor at Virginia Wesleyan College from July 2009-December 2011. There, she advised students and parents on academic issues, college admission requirements, course equivalencies and financial aid and scholarships. Weston also administered the Wesleyan Ambassador Program.

Weston also spent time as a volunteer study hall coordinator and academic advisor with the men’s basketball team at Virginia Wesleyan (July 2009-December 2011).

Weston earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Virginia Wesleyan in 2009 and her master’s degree in forensic psychology from Argosy University in 2011.
