Justin Morgan became West Virginia University’s general manager of IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions in 2015. Morgan joined WVU after spending a year in the same capacity for the University of Northern Iowa.
Morgan is in charge of overseeing the outbound sales and service efforts of the IMGL team, including the development and implementation of effective sales strategies to drive ticket sales revenue through season tickets, partial plans and group outings.
While at UNI, Morgan oversaw sales efforts involving season tickets, partial plans, group tickets and premium sales for Panther football, basketball, wrestling and volleyball events. During his tenure in Cedar Falls, IMGL sold 1,100 new season tickets for football and increased sales revenues by 40 percent. Additionally, Panther football partial plan tickets increased by 156 percent under Morgan’s watch.
Prior to Morgan’s stint at UNI, he spent two years as senior account executive at IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions’ University of Pittsburgh office. While at Pitt, he helped generate over $800,000 in ticket revenue. He also helped the Panther Club bring in over $80,000 dollars to the program’s athletic scholarship annual fund.
Morgan served as an account executive at the Florida State Athletic Department for four months in 2012 and spent the six previous months as an account representative with Florida Citrus Sports.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
